Metropolitan Regional Assessment Services (RAS) Operational Group Established
The RAS operational group commenced meeting 4th November 2010. The key roles of the Operational Groups are below:
- Establishment of agreed approaches across Regional Assessment Services using developed operational guidelines, processes and protocols.

Identification and facilitation of collaborative partnerships/building relationships to ensure effective implementation of the Assessment Framework including the interfaces between each Regional Assessment Service, Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centres (Access Points), service providers and key stakeholders.
- Identifying issues and strategies for further expansion or clarification before implementation.
- Agree on work priorities and potential timeframes.
- Informing and guiding further development of the face to face assessment tool and the IT software and any other identified resources required to commence implementation.
