Advocare is inviting service providers who work with older people and have an interest in the prevention of Elder Abuse and those who are experiencing abuse from family or friends to join their network meetings.

The network meeting aims to promote community awareness about Elder Abuse, act as a resource on elder protection issues and support those who are being abused.

An array of representatives from various government and non-government agencies attend. Meetings consist of guest speakers, information sharing and lively discussions around issues for older people, which result in the generation of ideas for resolving and preventing Elder Abuse.
