How do I prepare?

There are a number of things you can do to prepare for our on-site Quality Review visit.

Complete your self assessment form and return on time
The self assessment should be completed and returned to the Quality Review team within 6 weeks of receiving it.

Invite staff members to be involved
You can invite other staff or board members to be involved in all or part of a visit.

Organise a space for our reviewers
Room to work from with access to a power point for a our laptop is appreciated.

Prepare your documentation
Use the checklist here to make sure all documents are ready to present.

Staff interviews

  • Choose a range of staff to be involved including managers, coordinators and service delivery staff, as available.

  • For joint visits we will need to speak with a range of both HACC and Package (CACP/EACH) staff members.

Service user interviews

  • Select a number of your HACC clients to be involved.

  • For joint visits a range of both HACC and Package (CACP/EACH) clients will be required.

  • Make sure you get people's consent.

  • Organise interpreters/ carers / or advocates, as required.

  • Telephone interviews can be scheduled if face-to-face interviews cannot be arranged.
