What can I expect from an on-site visit? Print  Print

The Quality Reporting visit is conducted at your premises, usually by a team of two Quality Reviewers. A visit usually consists of:

Entry meeting
This meeting gives both parties a chance to meet and discuss:
  • roles
  • purpose of visit
  • sampling method
  • confidentiality, openness and transparency of process
  • work areas
  • answer any questions
  • what happens at the Exit meeting; and to then
  • review practices and processes examples supplied.

Staff/volunteer interviews
We expect to talk to a range of staff/volunteers at your organisation as part of the Quality Review. Staff can include managers, coordinators and service delivery staff.

Service user/stakeholder feedback
We expect to speak with some of your clients and other stakeholders. This can be done via a focus group on-site or as a telephone interview.

Exit meeting
This meeting gives both parties a chance to meet and discuss: 

  • visit outcomes and/or recommendations
  • follow-up by our Quality Reviewers
  • queries on the Improvement Plan
  • Quality Review report timeframe
  • making a complaint about the process; and 
  • asking for an outcome decision to be reconsidered.
Feedback

A feedback form will be provided to you at the end of the Quality Review process. We encourage you to tell us about your experience of the self assessment and our on-site visit to help us continually improve the Quality Review process.
