The Sector Development Team has over the last few years been involved in a number of projects that support the sustainability and future direction of the Wellness Approach. Some of these projects followed on from the review of the introduction of the Wellness Approach conducted by Edith Cowan University in 2009. Others have been initiated by the Aged and Continuing Care Directorate in WA or are a natural stage of the progression of Wellness.
The key projects currently being undertaken are:

- Centre Based Day Care Discussion Group
- Home Maintenance and Modification Research Study
