Nicki Hartnell the inaugral Chairperson of CommunityWest has stood down as Chairperson after 13 years at the helm.

In advising of her decision Mrs Hartnell made particular note of her thanks to the current and past Board, CEO and Staff for their support of her in the Chairperson's role. She indicated that she was sad to be stepping down but felt that the organisation was in a good position having successfully transitioned the transport service and refocussed the strategic direction.

Debra Costello on behalf of the Board and Members recorded the thanks of the organisation for Nicki's achievement and tenure as the organisation's Chairperson. She acknowledged her 13 years in the role of Chairperson, noting the substantial changes in the organisation over this period and the many challenges it had successfully met under Mrs Hartnell's leadership. She thanked her for her continuing support and commitment in remaining on the Board which she acknowledged would ensure high level of support and the transfer of corporate knowledge for the organisation's future challenges.
